Finding Cheap Flights, Rental Cars and Hotels

Are you putting off taking a vacation because your funds are limited? Many families put off taking a vacation because they think that taking a trip has to be pricey. No doubt it is expensive but with some research you can find deals that can make your dream vacation a reality.
First off, take some time to decide on a holiday that will suit your entire family. As a parent, you have the task of figuring out what everyone will enjoy. While pleasing everyone is difficult, there are holidays that include something for all ages. Some options may be impossible on a budget but you can come up with alternatives that will make an enjoyable cheap holiday. For example, if your family wants to take an African safari maybe you could consider a trip to San Diego which has the famous San Diego Zoo, a wildlife park and Sea World.
Next, invest some time in research; it will pay off (literally) in the end. The internet is a great resource for price comparisons and many travel companies only post their best deals on line. Travel agents are also a great resource and have the benefit of being one-stop shopping; they have tons of information for all budgets and many have special discounts on packages.
Airfare can be a major expense but with the flood of budget airlines, there are cheap flights to be found. Generally the best fares are booked at least three weeks in advance. Consider flying to off season destinations and traveling during the week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) when planes are not as full and most airlines offer cheap flights. Also consider using accumulated frequent flyer miles but make sure you book well in advance; there is a very limited amount of seats designated for frequent flyer redemption.
